Hackers Help: Make a Taller Footrest?

I purchased a DAGOTTO footrest, black.

Nifty little thing, but too short for me and my slightly too tall desk. Any ideas to make this taller??

How about cutting a piece of wood in the same dimensions as the faceplate and then glueing it on top of the footplate? If you’re not looking for a big leap in height, it should do the trick.

Get your local hardware shop to make the cuts for you, if you don’t have the tools. Just bring along the footrest as a template.

You may also sand and paint the board before glueing it down.
