In honor of Father’s day, Christian Lee of DadSews decided to help out Dads everywhere. You see, when we go into a restaurant with our baby, there’s often no place to change a dirty diaper.
If you’re a Mom, you may find this shocking. Changing tables have been a staple in your wash rooms for years, but alas, Dad has been left out.
Well, DadSews has come to the rescue! This sewing hack is not only quick and easy, but it will get you a perfectly sized diaper bag, with a fold out, easy-to-clean diaper mat.
NOW, you can change Baby ANYWHERE! Just roll out the bag and wipe clean. You even have the option to use the pouch as a pillow with the extra diapers to cradle the Baby’s head! It’s like he thought of EVERYTHING!

Greg created a diaper bag complete with changing pad out of a single big blue IKEA shopping bag. Unlike Christian’s hack, the changing mat is a separate piece from the bag and can be further padded if you find it a bit too thin.
Inspired by the Skip Hop Pronto Changer, Emily made a ‘diaper wallet‘ from a CD case (unfortunately the Lycklig cd case is discontinued but the idea can be easily applied to similar CD cases like this). It’s easier to grab for short outings, slip it into any bag and turn it into a diaper bag.
